COACHING STAFF
Camp Director- Kim Clark
Coach Kim is Head Coach of Impact Multisport. Ohio’s only High Performance Junior Development Team in the state of Ohio, focused on Draft-legal racing and the development of u23 athletes. She has coached athletes from beginner to professional. In addition, she is the only triathlon coach in the country that has coached all three disciplines of triathlon as individual sport at the collegiate level. She was the head coach of Savannah College of Art and Design, Head Cycling Coach, Kenyon College Swim Team Assistant Volunteer Coach and as Kenyon College Interim Cross Country Coach. This gives her a deep understanding of each of the disciplines.
Most recently she has devoted her efforts to bringing high school athletes into the draft-legal pathway and preparing them for NCAA competition. She is a USA Triathlon Level 2 Certified coach, Youth and Junior Certified Coach, NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and mom of three adult children. Coach Kim will graduate in the sprig of 2025 from the University of Missouri. Having earned an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology with and emphasis in Leadership and Positive Coaching.
Mitchell Steindler- Assistant Cycling Coach
Mitchell is a full time research scientist for Owens Corning. He has been a cyclist since his sophomore year in high school when he realized that bike days of cross country practice were more fun than regular cross country practices! He has participated in Olympic and half ironman triathlons with the Ohio State Triathlon Club when he was an undergraduate. He spent several years focused on crit racing both independently and on local teams. He has recently started mountain biking and completed the Mohican 100 as well as the 6 hour Hueston Woods race.
He has been a volunteer assistant with Impact Multisport over the several years in various capacities. He enjoys mentoring and sharing his passion of cycling with high school students.
Mitchell’s favorite part of cycling is exploring! He recently discovered that there was a swamp near Lancaster, OH!
Paige Black- USAT Level 1 Certified Coach and Camp Counselor
Paige is a Student-Athlete at Duquesne University, majoring in Athletic Training and is a member of the Women’s Varsity Triathlon Coach. She started training with Coach Kim at Impact Multisport a little over two years ago. Paige has a strong swim background from age-group and high school swimming. Paige is a 2x All-American, Represented Team USA at age group worlds in Hamburg, Germany. Additionally she qualified for Nationals as a Junior Elite athlete and represented Duquesne at NCAA Nationals. Paige is also a Certified USAT Level-1 coach. This is her third year working at The Performance Triathlon camp and she is excited to be a part of the team!
Ben Blaumeiser- Camp Counselor
Ben is currently a junior at the University of Arizona, where he serves as Team Manager for the women’s varsity NCAA National Championship team. He started working with Coach Kim when he was 11 years old. He participated in the Youth Draft-Legal events until he was 15 years. After that time he began focusing on running. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University as a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field programs. During the 2024 PTC, Ben was reminded how much he loves triathlon, and is working towards earning his pro-card.
Abbey Lotz- Camp Counselor
Abbey is a freshman at the University of San Francisco, majoring in biology and competing for their NCAA Division 1 triathlon team. In high school she was on the cross country team, swim and track and field teams. She started competing in triathlons her junior year of high school. She joined Impact Multisport with Coach Kim, who introduced her to NCAA triathlon and the benefits of cross training through triathlon which lead her to commit to the University of San Francisco! Abbey is a 2x Junior Elite Nationals Qualifier, she qualified for USAT AG Nationals and Worlds prior to competing at SFU. She is excited to mentor and share her experiences with the campers! Abbey had a breakout race this year at the Clermont Draft-Legal event.
